“It’s never too late”! As a 53yr old Mom of 10yr old twin boys…. that quote has never been more true.
I have recently moved to the Milton area from Buckhead. I am thrilled to be a part of such a vibrant gym community and excited to make new fitness memories.
Exciting life events have always happened later in life for me and my fitness journey is no different. My passion for fitness started in high school with cheerleading and gymnastics and into my adulthood with competitive body building. I started competing in bodybuilding competitions at the age of 47! First…I began competing in local shows, then out of state, then qualified for Masters Nationals in Pittsburgh where I gained professional status at the age of 50!
I love helping clients achieve their fitness goals and seeing all of the physical, as well as, mental growth that happens along the way. Its so important to keep pushing ourselves at all ages!
I fell in love with fitness. I wanted to share my passion with others who have the aspiration to become the best version of themselves.
Balancing family and career can make it a challenge to find time for yourself and your health. I’ve learned that’s when we need it the most, because it makes every aspect of our lives better.
Plus, it sets a great example for our families.
I’ve been married 25+ years to my best friend, John. I have a grown son, Ian, and daughter, Erin, along with my 3 Australian Shepherds and 5 chickens.
Hobbies: I am a outdoor mountains and ocean kinda girl. When I’m not at the gym I hike and mountain bike with my dogs. Vacations are usually at the beach soaking up the sun and paddle boarding.

Courtney graduated with a Masters in Journalism/Graphic Design and worked in the Atlanta ad agency scene for over 15 years. She then opened her own design business and enjoyed the flexibility of being her own boss and having time to spend with her family. After starting CrossFit in 2012, she decided to take her love of sport and coach others toward better health and fitness. Courtney is a CrossFit L1 Trainer and Master’s Qualifier athlete ranking in the Top 100 worldwide. Pushing herself out of her comfort zone keeps it interesting. “I’m enjoying this journey and have a huge appreciation for what my body is capable of accomplishing. I hope to always ‘stay above the curve’ and show that age is just a number!” She enjoys traveling, good food, dogs, art and anything adventurous. Courtney is a Milton resident and is married with two boys (three if you count the dog!).
Little Known Fact: Courtney is a licensed pilot and has enjoyed flying since college (she also jumps out of planes…but not the ones she’s flying).
Rachel was born in England and moved to Atlanta when she was 8. She graduated from the University of Georgia and in 2002 she moved to Los Angeles. After
returning to the Atlanta area, she started a business providing construction design services to real estate investors.
Since high school, Rachel has made staying fit and active a priority. In 2016, Rachel was diagnosed with a thyroid disease that made getting out of bed impossible some days. After months of doctors visits, they found a protocol that worked and she began to feel like her old self again.
In April of 2018, Rachel began attending classes at the Milton Athletic Club and fell in love with fitness again. “When I was sick, I realized how important being healthy is to every aspect of your life. Without your health, you really have nothing. I understand that on a very personal level now.” With the encouragement and support of Kyle and Cameron, Rachel is now sharing her passion for health and fitness with others as a coach and trainer. Rachel is a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and is currently working on her NASM certification.
“I can put you on this daily medication or you can do something to get your heart rate up every day for the rest of your life.” That is what the doctor said to Kevin at 30. He was not into sports in his childhood or high school and he did not see personal training or coaching in his future when I got an art degree. However, those words put him on a path to health, fitness and nutrition. When Kevin started, he was 250 pounds! He crash dieted for years before he realized that diet was not the whole picture. Kevin bought himself a set of free weights and started building muscle and that is when he realized that body and mind are fully integrated. It was not long after that Kevin began coaching. He have been a fitness and motivation coach for 4 years and has his CF-L1 certification.
